VOTE!
If you’re reading this, you’re likely going to vote for Omaba. Not exactly rocket science on that assumption.
BUT even if you aren’t, that’s okay. I don’t really care who you vote for as long as you VOTE.
Please. It’s a right. Use it or lose it.

Sometimes, It’s the People Who Like You…
…that really prove what a terrible person you’ve become.

Even Conservatives Can Do It…
I think this next bit speaks for itself and it does so using the eloquent writing style of formerly staunch Republican Christopher Buckley.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2008-10-10/the-conservative-case-for-obama/
One thing to note. After writing this and weathering serious flack for it from his workplace, Buckley offered to resign from the National Review. The periodical accepted his offer quickly and now Buckly can no longer write for the paper his family founded.
Gotta love that famous Republican forgiveness… oh wait…

A Video You Need to See…
I have actively tried to avoid direct links to the Obama campaign pages. While I am not at all hiding my preference in this election, I would rather provide you confirmed, fact-checked information over rumors and propaganda. Call me crazy, but I’d really rather just tell you the truth.
That said, this video NEEDS to be seen.

Please take the time to watch it.
Thank you,

Afraid to Talk? Why?
So McCain, on his own and without being asked to do so, has decided that the candidates should just drop everything and run to Washington. The ostensible reason? To do all they can to help with the current financial crisis.
The real reason? Well, it may not be a coincidence that this move would mean the upcoming debate gets canceled and possibly rescheduled.
One has to wonder… what is McCain afraid of?

DMZ Stands for DeMedia-ized Zone
So the Palin camp doesn’t feel confident enough in her performance with foriegn dignitaries to let the press watch her meetings? What should that say about how we’re supposed to feel?

This is some scary, Orwellian information-denial, folks. I urge you to follow that link.
How can I be expected to vote for someone I am not being allowed to even know?

Setting the Record Straight…
I very much appreciate this video and I think you will too. Take a few minutes from your day and give it a listen. It’s clear, straight forward and educates without insulting.

Name Dropping…
In this country of ours, a male politician involved in a sex scandal is not exactly unheard of.
Unfortunately, neither is the woman involved ‘disappearing’. We owe it to each other to give a damn where people are, especially when their absence is so fortuitous for people who might otherwise have to answer for their alleged misdeeds.

I Swear…
…there’s a joke here about McCain “keeping it up”, but I just can’t bring myself to make it.

Roll Them Bones…
I usually feel that a candidate’s personal life is exactly that – personal. I only get concerned when private behavior indicates something troubling about a public servant’s abilities in the office they hold. McCain holding the highest office in the United States already sounds like a bad gamble to me, but this article just makes that worse:
